This One Thing Affects Your Entire Day..
What's your guess?
Morning. You read it right, have a good morning. If you start your day with momentum, you can keep it up for the rest of the day. Some people are natural early birds and others are night owls. Regardless of your preference, there is proof that creating a regular morning routine will improve your mood, energy, metabolism, spirit and life.
How to have a Love Fast Live Slow morning?
We believe there are three key components to a LFLS morning.
First, plan ahead. Set that alarm. Go to sleep early enough. Write down what you hope to accomplish in your morning routine. Be realistic yet don't cut corners on the good stuff.
Second, don't skip the good stuff; bible study and breakfast. The grand trifecta would include exercise but I'll leave that one out assuming you'd knock that out in the afternoon, right? ;)
Third, do something for someone. Waking up with a LFLS mindset means you must start your day considering the needs of someone else. This could include bringing your spouse coffee in bed, texting someone a compliment, planning to meet for lunch with that friend you keep rain-checking, you know the one.
Jesus was a morning guy.
You don't earn more brownie points for waking up first, but you do become more like Jesus if you rock your morning.
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” Mark 1:35
